Christmas at Moma Amy's

We finally got together with Moma Amy's crew for Christmas. We exchanged Christmas presents, played a few games, and shared a lot of laughs.

Gapen Christmas

We traveled to Birmingham for the Gapen Christmas. Knox got sick on the way, but otherwise, he never missed a beat. Daddy and I were amazed at how well he did on the journey.

Christmas Day

Much to our surprise, we woke up Christmas morning to find our yard beautifully covered with snow!

After admiring God's handiwork, we went to the living room to see what Santa brought.

Knox was one super excited little boy!

When he discovered something he especially loved, he would turn to us and say, "Buy it!" We had to explain that Santa had already taken care of that, and all of this was HIS.

Uncle Jack, Nana, and Grandaddy stopped by to play with the new toys.

Christmas Eve at Grandma's

We continued our tradition of Christmas Eve at Grandma's. It's always such a special and fun night. Not only do we eat mouth-watering food, spend time together, and open presents, but we also ride around Alcorn County admiring the Christmas lights. That's always been one of my favorite things to do, and little Knox appears to feel the same way. He was SO excited the whole night!

Grandma bought Knox a Big Wheel. Daddy put it together for him, and we took it to Grandma's garage to try it out. He had SOOOO much fun being pushed! The faster, the better!

Love this picture!

Lots of love

Christmas in Cotton Plant

Nana joined us this year for our second annual trip to Christmas in Cotton Plant.
Although it was extremely cool outside, we had a wonderful time! Knox loved seeing all of the Christmas lights and blow-up decorations. He pointed to and named every character he recognized, which was a lot!I wasn't able to get any good pictures of Knox with any of the "live" characters. He liked the Gingerbread Man and Rudolph, but he was not a fan of the Grinch. Ha

Waiting ever so patiently to see Santa

He loved Santa!! He did so good! Santa gave him a candy cane (which he loves), so they instantly became friends. We ooohed and aahhed for a little bit. We were so proud of him for being such a big boy!
But suddenly, his love for Santa instantly disappeared and he was ready to be removed from Santa's lap...PRONTO...

Bhahahahahahaha!!!!!
(I blame it all on Nana! She's such a sucker! Hee hee!)

Safe in Daddy's arms
and AWAY from Santa

Good times, good times.
