Ballpark Fun & Mommy's New Job

At the rate we're going, I'm afraid Knox is going to think we live at a park! : ) We sure are having fun, though!

Peyton had a practice game against Uncle Jack last week. Knox spent some time with Aunt Trish and Uncle Brad while I watched the game.

Peyton played in New Albany this weekend. Pop and Nani stopped by on their way to Hernando and visited with Knox while watching the game.

Knox has made several friends already. His favorite Stealth supporters are Sophie, Briley, and Grant. They come by often to check on him. If he's awake, they all entertain each other. They love to see him smile & they are great helpers.

The Stealth Moms take good care of him, too.

One of the moms always leaves her mark on him!
We went to Peyton's DARE graduation on Friday. Knox fell asleep before it was over, but we had to take a picture anyway.
Our precious little boys

I am officially a stay-at-home mommy now! (Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to do this right now.) Knox and I went by the office on Friday afternoon to turn in my key and pick up some of my things. But before we could go, we had to stop by Ben's for a quick meal.

Evidently I took too long gathering my things. Knox conked out in Caroline's arms.
As you can see, he hasn't lost much (if any) of his hair.

On Sunday, we went to Cousin Reed's second birthday party. (I can't believe he's two years old already!) Knox was a sleepy little boy while we were there. He finally woke up & spent some time with a very special person, Reed's great-grandmother

Of course he had to talk to Aunt Erin, too

Knox is so much fun! I love to see him smile! He makes lots of noises now, even "laughing" occasionally. He amazes me every day. I thank God for this wonderful blessing!

Animals, Amory, and a Boo-Boo

Knox has been a very busy little boy recently, and we've been having tons of fun! We are still enjoying our morning play time, especially in the bouncy seat playing with (and try to talk to) the animals.

I love when he props his fist up like this
Does this bouncy seat make me look fat?
Trying so hard to talk
I believe we're going to have us a thumb-sucker!
Last weekend we went to Amory for Peyton's baseball tournament. This was our first tournament on the road with Knox. Since Daddy is the coach, we not only have to pack the whole house for Knox, but we also have to carry lots of baseball equipment. Let's just say it's a good thing we have an SUV! All that traveling will wear you out. Here's proof:
Knox got his first boo-boo this weekend in Amory, and it was all Mommy's fault! I felt so bad! We were loading up everything in the truck, and I had put Knox's carseat (with him in it) on the ground. Some way, some how - I dropped my keys - - - - on Knox's face. That sweet baby was sound asleep until the keys hit him. He screamed bloody murder, and my heart broke into. I know he'll have many more boo-boos in his lifetime, but I sure wanted his first one to be something HE did - not me!
In some of the pictures, you'll be able to see a little bruise on his forehead. : (

Daddy had to work Sunday, so Knox and I went to Grandaddy & Nana's after church to eat and spend time with some of our family. Knox had so much fun that he slept 8 hours last night! Whoo hoo!

Nana feeding Knox

Today is a special day for me. This time two years ago, my sister-in-law, Erin, was pregnant with Reed. I knew before he was born that I would love my nephew, and I wanted to be able to hold him any time I wanted. Because of this, I used Reed as an inspiration to quit smoking. Five days before he was born, I put the smokes down and so far, I haven't turned back. I'm celebrating two years of being smoke-free today!
Knox and I got to spend some time with Reed yesterday after church. Seeing Reed with my own son was worth every nicotine withdrawal, headache, and cranky mood I ever experienced!
Checking each other out

The sweetest kiss I've ever seen!
Knox turned his charm on for Aunt Erin...
Uncle Chris and Knox spent some quality time together, too. It was so sweet watching Knox study Chris!
Whoa! You look like my mommy!
Reed crawled up in his daddy's lap to get in on some of the loving, too. He put Knox's pacifier back in his mouth, drove his car on him, and just touched him. He was very good with Knox!

Tonight while Daddy was feeding Knox, he kept poking his pretty lips out and making funny faces. (You can see his boo boo well in these pictures.)

I'm sooo tired!

He caught his second wind right before he went down for the night. Daddy made a little pallet in the floor, and Knox entertained us for several minutes - as long as the camera wasn't around. I did happen to catch one funny picture:
I'm a mess!

Ten Weeks Old

Knox is ten weeks old today. Although he hasn't been feeling well the past two days, he's still a bundle of joy!
He has officially "woke up" and luckily for Mommy, he's sleeping schedule is perfect so far. (I'm waiting on this to change any day now.) He is normally awake the majority of the day, only napping occasionally.

Big Brother Peyton has loved Knox since the day he was born, but recently Peyton has gained a much bigger interest in Knox. He loves helping us with him in any way he can.
He usually comes in the house, goes straight for Knox, and gives him a big kiss. It is so sweet! Last Saturday, the guys wanted to give Knox a bath. Although it is not always easy for me, I let them be fully in control. I was in the kitchen putting dishes away when Peyton ran in to tell me what had just happened. He was laughing hysterically so it was hard to understand what he was saying. I finally got him calmed down enough to tell me the story.
Daddy was getting the bath tub ready, and Peyton was on baby patrol. Knox was laying on our bed, and I'll just let this Huggies commercial explain the rest...

God bless little baby boys!
