Knox's 2nd Birthday Party

We celebrated Knox's second birthday with family and friends a little early this year (since his super awesome Pop and Nani took us on a cruise during his actual birthday).

We partied at our church again, and it seemed to be just fine with Knox. He was so excited to be having his very own 'Spiderman Birdday Party!' He wore a Spiderman shirt, watch, and sticker, so he thought he was super cool.

His favorite possession is his Gator. There was no doubt about it - it had to go to the party.

He took his sweet cousin, KK, for a spin - but being Knox, he was too busy waving at others to drive.
But no fear, when it comes time to eat, this kiddo will sit still and chow down!

"Look at our stickers!!"

Knox was super sweet when he was opening presents. He got so excited over each and every gift. It was a joy watching his little eyes light up with every surprise. He put his chair from Sonny to good use immediately!

Precious little birthday boy!

Loving that $$ from "Aunt" Donna

Knox insisted on Grandma helping him

Because Knox was still potty training, we had a little interruption in the gift opening. It was a false alarm, but I thought it'd be funny for him to read this years later. We temporarily left the present area and went for the pinata. Bless him. ha!

The pinata was cool - at first. But then Knox didn't know what to think about everyone being mean to Spiderman. And he was pretty much devastated when Spiderman lost his head. As a mother, I didn't think to explain to him what was happening.
Oops.
I hope he's not forever tramatized.

The next picture totally describes Knox right now. He picked up one piece of candy at a time, and he placed each one in his pocket.

I wouldn't trade him for anything!

Knox finally finished the last segment of presents, again with a little help from Grandma.

And then finally, the grand finale...his bicycle from Pop and Nani - with a helmet and a horn!

Knox was THRILLED Nani rode with him!

Knox had such a good time at his party. I enjoyed watching him visit with family and play with friends. The only negative part of the day was his missed his buddy Grady's birthday party. He slept right through it!He was all partied out!
