I sing.
I sing in the choir.
I sing in the shower.
I sing at the shop.
I sing while I clean. (Insert laughter here.)
I love music, and I love singing. But I especially enjoy singing in my truck. (And thanks to Pop and Nani, we have XM radio. Whoo hoo!)
Recently Knox has began telling me which songs I can sing and how loud the music can be. I wasn't very excited about this, when he suddenly began bossing me around. However, it's turned out to be pretty fun. It's really neat to see which songs he likes.
If he doesn't like it, he yells, "No Moma, don't sing dat! Turn it off, Moma!"
I laughed so hard the other day when Knox was singing along with me to Justin Beiber's song, "Baby". It was precious. "Baby, baby, baby, ooooh! Like baby, baby, baby, oooh!" He was just too cute!
Later that night, he wanted to hear that song, "Baby" again, so I let him watch the video on his iPod. Bedtime (9ish) rolled around, and Knox insisted on watching it "just one mo' time," so I agreed, but gave him strict instructions.
Go to your room.
Lay down.
When the video goes off, go to sleep.
Pretty straightforward; not too difficult to understand.
Sure enough, the video went off - and Knox laid down and went to sleep.
Or so I thought.
At 10:30 p.m. I started hearing something very unusual on the baby monitor. I quickly and quietly went to Knox's room to check it out.
Oh my gosh.
There was our child, sitting up in his bed, playing Angry Birds!
"Knox! You have GOT to go to sleep!"
"I play Angry Birds, Moma!"
He didn't want to give me the iPod, but after convincing him I was going to put it on the charger, he finally handed it over.
Lord, help us! We have created a Mini-Tina!
