Knox had his one year check-up today, and we received a great report!
His statistics were:
height - 31 inches (96th percentile)
weight - 26 pounds, 6 ounces (90th percentile)
head circumference - 41 centimeters
He obviously remembered what happened at our previous doctor visits, so he cried...a lot! It was pretty heartbreaking listening to him, because he rarely ever cries. (He fusses or whines, but he seldom cries.)
He received four shots today, and we will return in one month for two more. We chose to get him a flu shot, which requires two separate doses. Because of his birthday party, and since we have to go back anyway, we also chose to get the toughest shot next month.
Knox took a GREAT nap after a big lunch with Daddy and me. Other than obviously being allergic to the latex on the bandaids, he's been perfectly fine. Thank you, Lord, for our healthy baby!
