20 weeks old

Knox is 20 weeks old today!
He WANTS to be very independent - he wants to sit up, stand, and hold his own bottle. When it's time to eat, I show him the bottle, he reaches with both hands, opens wide, and puts the bottle in his mouth. I'm so proud of him. He's just too smart!
He really likes to *feel* everything. He'll touch your face, hold your fingers, and try to get the writing off your shirt.
He still has his sweet bubbly personality, but at the same time, he's still very laid back and relaxed. And most of all, he's still a complete joy!

Knox finally got to meet Grandmother Gapen last Sunday! We stopped by her house to visit with her on our way home from Florida. It was so nice getting to see her.

Daddy turned 36 years old Monday, so Knox made Daddy a birthday card. That was quite an experience for me, but the end result was worth it all.
Isn't it beautiful?! Knox did it ALL by himself.

Nana and Grandaddy had a birthday supper for Daddy, and after we ate, Knox swang a little while. He was such a big boy sitting up in the swing. He did very good, and he seemed to enjoy it, especially after he got used to it!

Those pictures with your Grandmother Gapen are priceless. You will treasure those in year to come. Believe me, I know from experience.
