The reason we celebrate Easter is because our Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and arose three days later. So obviously, we went to church to celebrate.

Easter 2009We spent the afternoon at Lilly's house. Knox spent a lot of time playing in Lilly's car. Evidently all that driving caused him to work up an appetite. We thought he was eating a leaf, but after he continued chewing for several minutes, we finally scooped out two acorns!
Knox loved the Easter egg hunt at Lilly's house! He knew exactly what to do, and he actually did really well! He looked so cute wandering around the yard, and of course waving at Lilly's neighbors as they drove by.

Shawn & Amy gave Knox an Easter basket full of goodies. Knox had such a great time opening the surprises but especially eating some of the M&M's and Reese's chocolate!

I did not take pictures of Knox receiving his other Easter happies, but I did capture him opening his Easter card from Pop and Nani. He was so excited!
Although it was jam packed, I'm not so sure that this weekend could have been any better!

It is amazing how much the boys have grown in just one year. It's kind of sad too. Mommy looked like she wore heels this year or else she's gotten taller too! ;)
