Daddy grew up eating at Bob's Restaurant. According to him (and every waitress that has ever been employeed there), Daddy has eaten there a lot over the years. Over the past (almost) fourteen months, we've been trying to continue that tradition with Knox. Hee hee!
Bob's is now known as The Front Porch, but many of the employees are still the same. The waitresses, cook, and owners spoil Knox every time we go in there. Sometimes he goes with a waitress to take an order, check someone out, or give out menus. He usually leaves there with a toy or candy of some sort. Other times he just receives hugs, kisses, and of course waves.
It was at The Front Porch that Knox first fell in love with a cash register.
As time has passed, Knox has learned that he can press the buttons on The Front Porch's cash register (if the restaurant isn't too busy). The employees laugh over Knox's excitement and determination.
This past Saturday, Knox was given one of the best surprises he's ever received. The Front Porch's owner, Dewonia, gave Knox his first cash register. They had not been able to use it in over a year because of a problem programming the tax.
Knox has been ecstatic ever since!

Sweet Dewonia, that was so nice of her to give that to Knox.
He's too cute for words! I bet he'll know how to count really soon! :)
