Yesterday was a very, very special day. Not only was it my first official Mother's Day, but it was the day that Daddy and I dedicated our precious son to our Lord. We made a commitment that we will raise Knox in the ways of God. We were blessed to have so many family members and friends share this special day with us.

The red rose symbolizes Daddy's role in our family. He is the leader of our household.
The red rose also symbolizes the blood line passed on to Knox, as well as Christ's blood that was shed for our salvation.

We also recieved a rose bud for Knox.
A rose bud is not yet revealed what it will be. Like the rose, Knox will grow and his life will be revealed. Unlike the rose, Knox's future will be influenced by Daddy and me.
Knox was given to us as a sacred trust. How we handle this will affect how his precious life will unfold.

It was a very special day! Knox did so good and is so blessed to have parents that will teach him about our Lord.

Our boys did great. I'm so glad they will get to grow up together.
It is a wondrous thing, generation after generation passing down the love for Jesus and all He did for us. What a special blessing that it has been done for so many generations. May all of you enjoy teaching Knox what a heritage he has lying before him. love you, aye, Caroline
